Romney Endorsements...

Jay Sekulow, head of the ACLJ, and a very big member of the "religious right" - to steal a phrase from the MSM - endorsed Romney and introduced him at the Romney-after-party at CPAC. Jay said that Romney would appoint constructionist judges, and that he (Sekulow) had the opportunity to observe Romney and know that he is for real.

Also, Redstate reports that apparently Coulter endorsed Romney.. I skipped Coulter's speech on purpose.

McCain Endorsee Bails In Michigan

In today's National Journal an e-mail message from Michigan Republican Party State Committee Member Bill Kelly from the 5th Congressional District to a number of republicans across the state was published. In the message Kelly officially changed his endorsement from presidential candidate John McCain to Mitt Romney. His explanation was pretty interesting:

I now formally endorse Mitt Romney for president. Romney has the charisma and ability to communicate our conservative values. He will lead our party to victory. Endorsing John McCain was the biggest mistake of my political career - I think he has been more of a detriment than a benefit to our party.

Not only did Kelly endorse McCain, he was co-chair of McCain's Genesee County operation.
